The room was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful view of the mountains. the staff were friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the fact that the hotel was located close to the train station and cable cars, making it convenient for us to explore the area. the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every meal we had there.
Although our stay was mostly perfect, there was one issue that bothered us. During our stay, our bed broke in the middle of the night.

Interior has been modernised recently, very nicely done in cosy minimalist style. Restaurant and service are excellent.
There is quite a bit of traffic, with windows open you wake up at 6am... Hotel promotes fitness facilities whilst they are at a 5 minute walk and not very up to the high standards of the hotel.

The breakfast could have been improved with more variety and options.

Great way to end our trip. Wonderful facilities and absolutely superb breakfast with freshly cooked eggs or omelette and pancakes to order, as for instance. Location near the Hasli valley and the cable car and restaurants, a bookshop and two supermarkets.

The service was superb. The medium king room was a decent size and fashionable with lovely views. The staff was excellent and wonderfully friendly. The hotel's location near Ski Lift Meiringen was unbeatable.

Beautifull modern renovated hotel in the centre of Meiringen, with very friendly and helpfull staff. Great breakfast buffet and a fine restaurant. Our room was light, clean and pleasant to stay in. We would definitely recomend this hotel!
A little fridge in the room would have been nice and the diner prices in the restaurant are relatively high. Because of perfect location in the centre it's easy to find an alternative restaurant nearby.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Attention to detail on everything that would make guests feel very comfortable, at home; e.g. plates of dried/fresh fruits and nuts in various places give a very warm welcome to guests. Simon's cuisine was definitely the best, something to look forward to after a day's outing in the Alps.
